Dear clients,

written copy of the measures in connection with the transition to the 3rd stage of the PES was finally published today, we have prepared an accurate overview of the main changes that will take effect tomorrow. This new measure (full text available here), repeals and merges the original measures restricting free movement and retail trade and services (which we have informed you about here). The effectiveness of this measure is 3 December 2020 – 12 December 2020 (11:59 pm) - ie until the end of the emergency.

MASS EVENTS AND OPERATION OF RETAIL SALES

• restrictions on free movement throughout the Czech Republic are abolished

Still is PROHIBITED

• holding mass events of more than 10 people indoors / 50 people outdoors (with exceptions);

• concerts and other musical, theatrical, film and other artistic performances incl. circuses and variety shows with the presence of spectators;

• singing more than 10 people indoors (with exceptions);

• use of ski lifts and cable cars by the public

Still is LIMITED

• educational events and exams max. - 10 people indoors / 50 people outdoors;

• operation of a catering service establishment - prohibition of the presence of the public between 10 pm and 5:59 am (exception - establishments that do not serve the public - eg employee catering);

• in general, for the provision of services and retail sales, rule 1 of the customer per 15 m2 of area is introduced;

• for other restrictions (casinos, casinos, betting offices, sports grounds, artificial swimming pools, zoos, museums, galleries, fairs, etc.) we refer to the full text of the crisis measure

Still is RECOMMENDED

• employers to use home-offices (if employees can do it at the place of residence due to the nature of the work and the operating conditions);

• keep a distance of at least 2 meters when in contact with other people in public areas (eg when shopping);

• use cashless payments
