yesterday, the Chamber of Deputies approved the extension of the state of emergency until 23 December 2020.

CRISIS LAW

The Chamber of Deputies also decided to discuss an amendment to the Crisis Act in a state of legislative emergency. Although the final version of this amendment is not yet known, it is clear that it will be adopted relatively quickly.

For this reason, we would like to draw your attention to one of the most significant changes, namely that it will now be possible to impose a fine on a legal entity for violating crisis measures (according to the current proposal of up to CZK 3,000,000 - however, this amount is still to be negotiated) .

BORDERS WITH BAVARIA

From 9 December 2020 to 5 January 2020, Czech citizens will only be able to cross the Bavarian border with a negative test (and quarantine) - this means that it is not possible to make purchases, business trips, etc.

However, commuters, family members and students are allowed an exception and do not have to prove it by a test.
